ALEXANDER CROCKET RITCHIE’S  FAMILY.

 Alexander Crocket Ritchie, the son of JAMES RITCHIE & MARY POLLY KEITH was born 1778 in North Carolina, he died 1878 in Perry Co, Ky  he married SUSAN ELIZABETH GRIGSBY who was born 1782 and dies in 1876, she was the daughter of Benjamin Grigsby and Elkana Combs, they are both buried in the Ritchie Cemetery in Fisty, Ky.

Thomas Ritchie born 1804 in Va, married Kizzie Smith.

James Ritchie born abt 1808 in Perry Co, Ky, married Hannah Fugate.

John Ritchie born Abt 1810 in Perry Co, Ky, married Sylvia Sizemore.

Gabriel Ritchie born abt 1812 in Perry Co.Ky married Nancy Campbell.

Hiram Ritchie born abt 1814 in Perry Co, Ky married Phoebe Patrick.

Naomi Ritchie born 1816 in Perry Co, Ky married Ephraim Sizemore.

ISOM RITCHIE born abt 1817 in Perry Co, Ky married Martha Patrick.

Mary Polly Ritchie born 1819 in Perry Co, Ky married Archibald Cornett.

Elizabeth (Betty) Ritchie born 1820 in Perry Co, Ky married William Smith.

Oriah (Ora) Ritchie born 1821 in Perry Co, Ky married Reece Young.

Nicholas Ritchie born 1825 in Perry Co, Ky married Nancy Patrick.

Alexander Crocket Ritchie JR born 1828 in Perry Co,, Ky married Mary Fugate.

About 1851 Gabriel Ritchie, Isom Ritchie, Nicholas Ritchie, Hiram Ritchie, Naomi (Ritchie) Sizemore  and Mary Polly (Ritchie) Cornett, left Kentucky with their families and moved to Arkansas, Gabriel later returned to Kentucky, one of his daughters was born in Arkansas, but all the other children of Alexander Crocket Ritchie settled permanently in Arkansas.
