WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A GENEA-ANGEL ?
| The Kentucky Library and Archives has a wealth of information in the microfilm for Knott County. There
is so little available information for Knott County court
records which include marriages, deeds and other records
vital to documented research. If you want to know what
you can do to help, the answer is simple. Be a Genea-Angel
and purchase a roll of microfilm. I will be more than happy
to transcribe its contents and post it for your use as
well as others. After transcription of the film is complete,
I will donate the film to the public library in your name.
You may have the KDLA mail the film directly
to me or send it yourself to the address below:
Gloria Marcum The cost of a roll of film is either $10.00 or $15.00 depending on the size. I am compiling a complete and up to date list of what is available and you will find that on the court records page. The film may be purchased at the address below: Archives Research Room Film may be ordered by phone also 502-564-8300 |
