"GOD SENT AN ANGEL"

God sent an angel on a rainy day.
and took our little baby away.
He flew away like a little dove,
he's resting now on the wings of love.

He was so precious to our home
now we sit here all along.
God had his reason for what he done,
he had to take our little son.

Like other kids, he laugh and talk
he often ask why he could not walk.
We told him God knew what was best
he wanted him to lay and rest.

I know that he understood.
that we did the best we could
To make him happy while here he lay,
now he sleeps in a bed of clay.

He's happy now with angels above
resting with Gods eternal love.
Now walking and talking around the throne,
in that beautiful Heavenly home.

His little grave so sad and cold,
its all covered with flowers and snow.
Sleep on my darling, sleep on I pray.
I'll meet you again in Heaven someday.

His little legs were so lame,
but never once did he complain.
Our loss on earth is Heavens gain,
he's now a link in that chain.
