John J. Amburgey store and Paul's Frosty Freeze Smithsboro, Ky This is where I was born. It was first called John J. Amburgey store. The ice cream stand was named Paul's Frosty Freeze after John J. Amburgey and Ida Smith grandson the s/o Guy Collins and Hope Amburgey. The store later was named Collins Dept Store. Oh what good memories this has. Submitted by Donald Givens |
