John Evans  vs.  Thomas Mallet    On a Petition & Summons Judgment is granted the plaintiff for  five dollars with legal interest from the 27th day of  February 1798 until paid & costs.

 On motion of William Gilmore  and William Gillaspey executors named in the Last Will & Testament of William Gilmore,  decd.  certificate is granted them for obtaining  letters, testimonies.  They made bond in the sum of twenty thousand dollars  with Richard Prior and Nathan Ellington their securities.

 An Indenture of Bargain and Sale of land  from  Elixus (?) Musick to Patrick Kindrick was produced in court and proven by the Oath of George Hindrick and ordered to be recorded.

 Henry Bowin vs.  Obediah Fulks  On a Petition & Summons

Judgment is granted the plaintiff for  L 3  (English pounds) with legal interest from the 1st  day of  March 1794 until paid & costs.  Giving a credit of ten dollars.

An Indenture of Bargain and Sale of land  from  John Carter  to George Sallinger was exhibited in Court and proven by the Oaths of John Carter and Edmund Pendleton, two of the witnesses thereto and continued for further proof.

 David Ward and Henry Bowen, gentlemen being appointed by a former order to settle with James Jones Administrator of the Estate of Isaac Moore, Decd.  returned a Settlement of the same which was ordered to be recorded.

 Abram Childres vs.    Champion Faris   On a Petition & Summons Judgment is granted the plaintiff for Twenty Dollars and the cost by him in his behalf expended. Ordered that Abraham Childres  pay James Osborn  53 cents for 1 day's attendance as a witness for him again Champion Faris

 Ordered that John Montgomery be recommended to the Executive as a  ? and paper person for Captain in the Second Battalion of the 72nd Regiment of Virginia Militia in the room of Samuel Porter resigned;   William Kilgore Lieutenant in the room of John Montgomery who is promoted  and Elijah Carter Ensign in the room of Towns and Duncan removed.
