LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

KITTY MARTIN
| Will Book 1 Page 115 & 116 I Kitty Martin of Mousie Post(?---?) Knott County, Ky. Being of sound mind and memory and sensible of the great uncertainty of human life. Desire to arrange all my worldly affairs while I have still the ability to do so. Having past all (?---?) life in this county and achieved a medium of success far beyond my most sanguine expectations; as an expression of my thankfulness to God for them and for his other innumerable blessing bestowed upon me, I hereby make, publish, and declare this as and for my last will and testament revoking all former wills and codicils made by me. 1st. I direct that all my just and lawful debts be paid out my estate. 2nd. I will and bequeath to my sister Mousie Martin all of my real estate that I own in Knott County it being all the interest I have on the Clay Martin farm on Jones Fork. 3rd. I also will and bequeath to my sister Mousie Martin all my personal property that I have including one half interest in the Store of Kitty Martin and Company also all my money and livestock that I have or may have at my death. 4th. I desire and direct that a double tombstone be placed at the graves of my Father and Mother and to be paid for out of my estate. 5th. I also direct that I tombstone be placed at my grave and to be paid for out of my estate. 6th. I hereby appoint Mart Gibson my brother in law and husband of my sister as executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal to this my last will and testament, which I (?---?) to be probated of (?--and) soon after, this Oct. 13th 1916.
